The Spaces

Spaces range in size from 130 to 800 square feet, with rents starting at $275/month.

Leases are for a period of one year. We do not offer short-term leases, hourly rental or co-working at this time. We are not able to accommodate practices that require special equipment or ventilation, that are hazardous to the health of others, or that generate loud or continuous noise. Spaces may be used as private workspaces only. We do not offer live/work options or space for client-facing businesses.

The History

Generations of elementary school students were educated at Oak Grove School, which was built in the 1930s. It was first a county school and later part of Springfield Public Schools.

In the 1980’s, the building became the home of the Junior League of Springfield, a volunteer organization with its own long and storied history, which operated out of the building until 2023. New Moon Studio Space welcomed its first tenants in September of that year. Since then, we’ve been hard at work renovating this building to provide functional spaces for working artists.
